The quarterly report sent via mailer, with advertisements, free of charge to the school system, with assurance that no controversial ads will be included?

In this economy, advertising dollars are tight. I find it hard to believe that a company thinks it could sustain its production and mailing costs through such advertising. Further, who at Central Office is going to be tasked with guaranteeing that no “controversial” ads will be included in the mailing? And to whom would the quarterly report be sent? Only to parents with children enrolled in the public school system? I hope not.

With regard to Ms. Pedersen’s request that “letters Col Wade writes” be included in the mailer – would it not be more accurate to state “letters written for Col. Wade’s signature?”
