Public Forum – 6 p.m.

  • Theresa Hicks - JP Ryon parent.  Hill speech on attitude.  Negative attitude in school.  Plenty of red flags.  School is not supported.  Email received from Hollstein didn't provide support.  Front office is negative.
  • Deron Tross - Parent.  daughter was sexually abused in another school system.  She's now 31 but feels he let her down as a father.  BOE member taken to court over an apple but no one is speaking out about the assaults.  School system needs to be better than normal. Do something for the children.  We deserve better.  Top 5 property taxes in MD.  businesses are not going to want to move here.  They read the paper.
  • Kim Williams - Parent, sexual abuse of students to stop.  teacher indictments.  hard to leave daughter at school knowing she is not safe.  Parents have restricted access to schools and we rely on the staff. Letter to Dr. Hill 3 weeks ago went unanswered.  Should communicate comprehensive response.  Parents need to feel their children are safe and secure.  More information is required.
