Board of Education meetings now available live online

Board of Education meetings are now available live on Comcast Channel 96 as well as on the Charles County Public Schools Web site located at www.ccboe.com.

The school system will be streaming the Board meeting live beginning 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 14. Users will be able to access the page from a link on the school system home page that will be posted the day of the Board meeting or by going directly to www2.ccboe.com/boe/live.

Superintendent James E. Richmond said the school system is providing live streaming on the Web site for those who are not able to access the meeting as it airs live on Comcast Channel 96.

Windows users should be running Windows Media Player 9 and above, and Mac users should download and install Flip4Mac (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/video/flip4macwindowsmediacomponentsforquicktime.html). Both programs are free to download.

If users are unable to watch the Board meeting live, it will be available on our Web site as Video On Demand by Thursday, April 16. To access our Video On Demand page, visit www2.ccboe.com/publicinfo/channel96/vod.
