Hello -

I have been doing research on how to better enhance school programs through food and nutrition and would love to share the information with the Board of Education. What is the best way to do that?

Best wishes and I hope all is well

There are several ways. I'll list them below from the least preferrable the best.
1) you can email the superintendent, all board members, student board member and director of food services with your proposal and information. (sometimes this doesn't get the desired results)

2) Prepare 10 packages (1 for each of the above mentioned people) and mail or have a board member deliver to the remaining people. (I would be more than happy to do this for you, just let me know.)

3) Come to our Public Comment session of one of our board meetings, the next one is 4/9. Sign in before 6:00. You will have 3 minutes to speak about your proposal. Have the 10 packages prepared and labeled with who they are for with your contact information. (I think this is the best way)

What happens by informing all 10 people is that now we are ALL aware of the proposal and can ask the status and follow-up, if it's feasible, something we want to implement and adopt, etc.

I'm very interested in seeing your proposal and research. As you are probably aware, our hands are tied pretty tight when it comes to what we can and cannot serve due to federal mandates.
