Public Forum – 6 p.m.
  • Theresa Hammond - School to prison pipeline. School based trauma. IEP should only be given to handicapped children and implemented appropriately. IEP's should not be given to those who are not handicapped.  Harsh treatment in the school system...must make ALL children in system successful.
  • Tim Perrier - Spoke last month.  Appearance as though no one is listening.  Some members cant even make eye contact.  Everyone should be concerned.
  • Rhonda Thomasson - Proper policies and procedures need to be established.  Tired of CCPS trying to hide things and sweep them under the rug.  Unruly student in classroom and teachers hands are tied.  What is administration teaching our students by not giving clear guidelines, consequences, and boundaries etc.  School should not be allowed to question or interrogate students without a parent present.  Child is proof of manipulated interrogation.  Dr. Hill has an over-inflated ridiculous contract.
  • Ian Herd - Student.  Promote Financial Literacy.  Extend to sophomores and through the Spring.  Thank you.  Continue looking for options to make it more equitable and financially possible for all students.  Members listened to students.
