Notes from Board Meeting, 6/25/07

The below notes are my personal notes and are not intended to be all-inclusive or official minutes for the Board of Education meetings and are provided as a request from my supporters and the general public in a personal effort to be more transparent.   • Wise - attended MABE Leadership Conference this week. Charles County is ahead of the times. Current students are raised in a digital world.
  • Wise - asked about a classroom specific for ESOL class
  • Richmond - classroom assignments are still open

    Your notes don't mention it, but the agenda for this meeting had the approval of minutes for the 6/12/07 meeting listed. That is a first, isn't it? For as long as I can remember, minutes for regular and work sessions were not approved until the following month.

    Not complaining!

    You are correct. Inoticed it also. It was on the agendsa but it was never brought to the table for discussion or action. Therefore it is still a draft and will be an action item at the August Board meeting.
